Ultimate California Road Trip

California Road Trip is the best way to have a lifetime experience across California coast as it meanders through some of its bustling cities, wades through beach towns and redwood forests! Here we cover all the “must see” places in between San Francisco to San Diego, with little detours to catch with green trails, all along the Pacific Coast Highway combining portions of California State Route 1 and U.S.101

San Francisco


The Golden Gate Park is a great place to start the memorable trip. The places to visit are Fisherman’s Wharf, Alcatraz Island and Union Square. Have a view of the city through famous San Francisco tram. You can take a ferry to Angeles Island where you can have wonderful views of the city.

Prairie Creek Redwood State Park-houses Coast Redwood, world’s tallest living tree species, reaching upto a height of 370 feet numbing you in awe and then have a view of Roosevelt Elk (California’s largest land animal) at Elk Prairie covered with lush greenery all around.

Santa Cruz


Santa Cruz is like going back 40 years back with its characteristic old American vibe. One can check out the lighthouse on the beach, the Big Dipper along the boardwalk, beautiful beach and Mystery Spot- a collection of strange phenomena from last so many years.



An hour drive from Santa Cruz, takes us to Monterey Bay where we can view Monterey Bay Aquarium, Point Lobos State Natural Reserves and a “must see” Old Fisherman’s Wharf and not to mention whale watching, sailing,kayaking and biking.

Big Sur


Big Sur is sure to provide one the life time experience as the two-lane highway from Cambria meanders along the mountains to extend beautiful view of oceans, captivating scenery thus making it a lifetime experience for all. The most scenic points along the route are Salmon Creek Falls, Sand Dollar Beach and Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park.

Santa Barbara


Santa Barbara is a good stopover prior to Los Angles and along the coastline of Pacific Coast Highway we come across Stearns Wharf and East Beach. It has Santa Barbara Zoo, Botanical Garden, Lotusland and Historical Museum.

Los Angeles


One can visit the Kodak Theatre, walk along the Hollywood Walk of Fame, check out the Santa Monica Pier, drive down Sunset Boulevard and stroll down Rodeo Drive to have a feel of the movie capital and a “must see” isUniversal Studio. You can visit the world famous Getty Center or the Los Angeles Country Museum of Art.

San Diego


San Diego is the perfect place to end the California Road Trip. Here you can great views at Balboa Park, Down Town and Old Town. One can have a wonderful view of San Diego and Bay from the tip of Point Loma at Cabrillo National Monument.
